Product Review: Julep Maven Rose

I received my Julep Maven package last Tuesday and I was so excited to try them out for the first time.  I was also so surprised that they added 2 glitters that I did not know about, but I was very thankful.  So I could not be put the color on that same Tuesday even though I really wanted too but  I waited until Thursday and decided to give the color Rose and complementary glitter a try and see what there staying power, how long it took for chipping to begin and how vibrant the color was.

This is how my nails looked after 2 coats of Rose and a top coat of  Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails Strengthening Top Coat. as you can see the color is very vibrant.  I am completely in love with the formula of this nail polish with 2 coats I felt like was enough to give me a really good color payoff.  The glitter was really nice I felt like a little went along way and it was very shimmery since the beginning.

I did my nails on Thursday November 1st and for the next four days I showered 10 times, I gave yamita a shower 5 times and washed dishes everyday 3 times a day with out gloves.  To be honest with you I was really impressed with the staying power since the chipping of the nails did not begin until Sunday night. The glitter stayed the same I did not notice any chipping in that nail at all and it was still shimmery and in its place.

After all the washing and hot water handling you can see the the chipping was not as bad and the glitter did hold its sparkle and the true color still there.  Over all I know that if I would have taken better care of my nails like using gloves while washing dishes would help the nail polish stay longer with out any chipping of at least 7-10 days, but for the review I wanted to show the quality it has for everyday mother's.

I hope you found this review hopeful.

Thanks for stopping by this quiet afternoon,

Yamileth
