A Late Make Up Friday: Red Lips

For years I've been wanting to try red lips and I have always been really scared because I really don't wear anything on my lips but chapstick.  I bought this lipstick which is more like a burnt red color on the tube which I love but on my lips it looks a little brighter,  don't know if it's the lip pencil maybe next time I'll just try a darker lip pencil.  I'm going to try out another red color, what do you think?
